Do you have an interest in Planning, Land Use, or Local Government and want to serve the community? The Town of Gorham is seeking one individual to serve on the Planning Board.
- The Board meets regularly on the first Monday of the month, unless it is a holiday; in which case, the regular meeting is scheduled for the second Monday of the month;
- If warranted by the number of pending or newly submitted applications, a second monthly meeting may be called, typically for the third Monday of the month;
- Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. at the Gorham Municipal Center in Council Chambers;
- Planning Board members are appointed by the Town Council for a three (3) year term. The Board is comprised of up to 7 Members.
Applications must be turned in no later than November 30th for the Planning Board vacancy.
Applications for various Boards & Committies which expire on April 1, 2019 will be accepted through February 15, 2019. Please indicate on the application which Board you are interested in.
