November 8, 2022 Election & Voting Information


A General Election and the Town's Annual Municipal Election will take place on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 in which voters will select their choice for Governor, Maine's Representatives to Congress, State Senator, members of the Maine Legislature, and appointments to the Gorham Town Council and Gorham School Committee, as well as cast their vote for local referendum questions.

Voter Registration

Unenrolled voters can enroll in a party at any time, including Election Day, since the State of Maine offers Election Day voter registration.

Absentee Voting

The final day to apply for and submit an absentee ballot (in the presence of the Town Clerk) is Thursday, November 3, 2022, 7pm.

To be counted, absentee ballots must be returned to the Town Clerk's Office by 8pm on Election Day - November 8, 2022 by you or an immediate family member.
