Nomination Papers Available for School Committee & Town Council

A Municipal election will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 for the purpose of electing:
 
  • TWO (2) persons for Town Council to serve a 3 year term
  • THREE (3) persons for School Committee to serve a 3 year term
  • ONE (1) person for School Committee to serve a 1 year term.

Nomination papers are available from the Town Clerk’s Office beginning on Thursday, July 27, 2023.  Completed nomination papers must be submitted to the Town Clerk’s office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2023.

Any registered voter of the Town of Gorham, who is interested in running for any of these positions, must submit nomination papers with no less than 35 or more than 50 signatures of persons who are registered voters of the Town of Gorham.
