The Gorham Assessing Office annually establishes the value of all real and personal property for purposes of ad valorem taxation.
The Cumberland County Regional Assessing Office has contracted with the Town of Gorham to provide assessing services. Representatives from Cumberland County Assessing are available in the Gorham Assessing Office on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. and are available to meet with the public outside of those hours on an appointment basis. Sally Bartlett, Administrative Assistant to the Assessing Department, is also available in the Gorham Assessing Office to assist with public inquiries Monday through Friday, 8:30 am through 4:30 pm.
Visitors may also access assessing data via a self-serve area in the Gorham Assessing Office. This area will have all assessing forms and applications, as well as access to Vision online property information and tax maps.
