1:00 PM Fabulous Fun, Fashion and Fur
Bring your favorite stuffed animal to the library this afternoon.
Stop by the grooming station. Pick a new ribbon or perhaps a matching
bead set for you and your stuffy. Then join us for a parade and
afterwards we will enjoy animal crackers and lemonade. We will have a
collection box at the library for donations of pet food for the
Westbrook Animal Shelter. We are expecting a special furry guest from
the shelter for this event.

Make your own pet rock. This pet is guaranteed not to make a mess

1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Chemistry Demonstration
Do not miss this one! Members of the chemistry department at USM
will be here with a really big show. There will be cool color changes,
amazing reactions, cold chemistry, and lots of explosions. It will be
fun for students and adults alike. Audience involvement and
explanations of what is going on “behind the scenes” are also part of
this demonstration. The show lasts about one hour with time for
questions.
