Gorham Fire Department Chief and Deputy Chiefs
Chief Robert Lefebvre started is career in 1968 as a founding member of Westbrook Rescue. He was appointed as a fulltime firefighter for the Westbrook Fire Department on December 1, 1971. He was promoted to Captain in 1978. In April of 1984 Gorham Town Manager appointed him as Fire Chief of the Gorham Fire Department. This was a part-time position at that time. In 1987 the Gorham Town Council approved the first fulltime Fire Chief’s position and Chief Lefebvre was appointed to this position on January 5, 1987 and has served in this position since.
