REQUESTING INSPECTIONS
NOTE:
Please give as much advance notice as possible when requesting inspections.
A minimum of 24 hours is required.
WHAT INSPECTIONS ARE REQUIRED AND WHEN?
Foundations:
prior to backfilling (waterproofing must be completed
and all drains and rocks in place).
Framing
(can be combined with electrical and/or plumbing
rough-in inspection)
Electrical (Service & Rough In)
All underground service prior to backfill
Plumbing
All before closing in walls - All drainage should be completed
and under pressure. (including basement)
External Wastewater System (Septic or Sewer)
1. Scarification of bed bottom (unless installer is State Certified
and has completed waiver)
2. Prior to backfilling.
Final Inspection
(Issuance of Occupancy Pemit)
