Do I need a building permit?
Any new structure, including decks, sheds, pools and alterations to existing structures will require a building permit and possibly electrical and/or plumbing permits. These permits are issued through the Code Enforcement Department and may be downloaded, filled out and mailed or brought in to the Code Enforcement Department.
