Yes. Passport applications can be processed in our office between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. The Clerk's office has been a certified passport agent since September 2001. We have passport applications, renewal forms and many other forms you may need to obtain or update your passport. We will gladly accept your completed application and forward it to the U.S. Department of State for processing. You now have a choice of getting the traditional passport book, the new passport card or both. You may pick up an application from the Clerk's office or download one from the Internet and bring it to the Town Clerk's office for processing. You may complete your application in advance but do not sign it prior to appearing before the acceptance agent. Please bring in your original birth
certificate (photocopies are not acceptable) or your most recent passport if issued to you while you were an adult. You will need identification; this can be a valid driver’s license. You will also need 2 identical 2 x 2 full-face passport photos; these can be taken here at our office for a $10.00 fee per person. You will also need two forms of payment. First, a check or money order payable to U.S. Department of State for the appropriate application fee and second a payment to the Town of Gorham that can be made with a check, cash or debit card.
